Saying Good Morning おはようございます
Ohayōgozaimasu (O-hai-o-go-zai-mas)
This is the most formal way of saying 'Good Morning'. It is used to speak to people such as bosses, teachers, unfamiliar people and grandparents in some occasions.
おはよう Ohayō (O-hai-o) This is an informal way of saying 'Good Morning'. It is used to speak to people such as friends and work people.
Saying Good Afternoon こん
